I’m done. Sick and tired of watered down versions of good foreign works. Everybody watched Harry Potter without subtitles. Why can’t we just leave well enough alone. This SyFy version of Being Human is shiny. The original is dark and terse, no gloss unapologetic and fantastic. It ‘s what has me entrenched in the Brit sci-fi ( Dr. Who, Bedlam, Torchwood(when it was on)) and has turned me on to new fave Luther. I’m good with the copy piece. my only exception to this is the Office..the US version was dope, the UK version classic. This remake of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo makes me sick, are we so lazy that we couldn’t watch the original?…subtitles, disturbing scenes and dope acting. can’t it all be so simple? I hope this jawn is good, but next it’ll be Run Lola Run & Amorres Perros. sad.
